David, Tony, I was lucky I had both original GPA front shocks with my GPA, still in good working order. The were F marked, made by Gabriel and on the top "Model GPA Amphibian". These shocks are indeed havier duty then on the jeep. Sorry, I have no spare ones, and have no info on a replacem...

As Peter mentioned, I think I can help you out.

I will have to go to my shed and make clear photos of the captive nuts on the top rail all around the GPA.
I will get back to you soon, with photos and info on what size nut goes where and at what places there are no captive nuts.

Hello Steve, Your 'odd' data plate is correct (in steel) for early GPA, but it goes on a different spot on the dash, on the right side of the hand brake handle. I happen to have photos of both GPA and GPW frame front side.
I think the photos speak for them selves, there are many differences.

Today some parts from Dean (slopes-2) came in.

The quality of these products are even higher then they appear on photo.
I can recommend his products to all GPA owners, you will not be disappointed.
