Bob Wonderful photo of a cross section of a GPA!!! But when I remember which GPA this was it is truly sad, considering it was one of the most beautiful GPAs and one of the few I sailed in, too. I don't like to see a photo like that of it. But from what I can see from the photos, and from what little...

Thanks a lot for the link and pictures. You have a wonderful GPA, it looks great! I learnt a lot of things from it, one of the things I was amazed about was that the chassis number is so early and that there are a lot of parts from the second series already together with parts from the first series....

Hi David I also have an early GPA, could you pls post some of your GPA photos to share? My GPA was all dismantled into parts when I bought it and consequently many parts were lost! If you could post or e-mail me photos of the capstan winch frame, front deck and floor panels, in particular, I would a...

Some more progress...............
Just posted some more pictures of my GPA restoration on the following link : m? Progress is slow as things take longer to restore than one thinks. Leo knows what I mean as he is doing the same job, however his progress is further than mine. Maybe one day we can swim our GPA's together. Also saw Rich...

As far as I know, those panels go with the early GPAs who also have the lifting rings on the chassis/frame and not on the deck. On the upper railing you should a...

GPA 430 Finally on its way to being restored !!!
Finally started restoration on my GPA. And I have met with my 'first problem' ! Here is a picture of the wheel arch - the area in question. As you can see it is all rusty and I cannot see whether the wheel arch continues in one piece with the rear bottom. Or whether the rear bottom is made out of an...
