Yes, really a great job done. Halas, this guy is too far to be hired later by myself, that's a pity ...

Your GPA will be soon restored for a lifetime and more.

My idea is that you do not have the right pulley on it and that your bracket on the bloc is a GPW one, GPA is longer. Picture will follow.

The number stamped on top of the frame is not really at the same place than a Ford GPW. It is stamped between the left engine bracket and the front end of the frame, near the place where there is 2 rivits and and hole very close each other. If this doesn't help : http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/3...

She seems to be a great one, congratulation.

You must also find her frame number stamped on the dash plate.

GPA-11990 DOD is from the 7th or the 8th of april 1943, this is for sure a batch of lend leased vehicles.

GPA-5386 is an early january 1943 one, yes, maybe the 5th.

I will restore her in its original ealy shape. Those are much more rare (see my data base).

Like you, I also like very much the "late" model and sold my early one for a late type ...

Yes Richard, they are often rotten by rust or battery acid leak ...

On my frame, one is still perfect and the other one was badly damaged ...

If you also have its correct rivets, I will go for 10.

I already know the high quality of your repros.

Rear spring outrigger (rear spring mount on frame)

Hello, I'm in the need a #GPA-5796 part to complete my frame.

If someone can help me with a good useable one, I will not remove one of the frame I still have for sale.
