Interesting.... does anybody have a picture of how this looks? Do you need washers? What size bolts or screws? What stops the leather from tearing out around the bolts?

Hey Guys, Is there a retaining plate for the PTO shift boot similar to the transfer boots? I hear it is square, Does anybody have a picture? David Pizzoferato of WeeBee Webbing is going to reproduce the shift boots for GPA PTO levers but needs this piece... I'm not sure what it looks like. Any pictu...

I've seen GPA's marked both in drab blue and white..... and with or without stars.... any thoughts on what GPA 2196 should be marked with? I know markings were often repainted in the field and things like invasion stars added.....

Hello, How do the brake hoses and vent lines make it through the hull? Is there a special fitting, my burned GPA had some special looking fitting, however they were all shot, and I haven't seen them on the other hulls... can somebody let me know what they look like, if they are available NOS or a cl...

Donovan, Thats good to hear that you are making progress. Mine is coming along pretty well, I hope to have it ready for the MVPA convention in Dayton, but its going to be tight and don't want to cut any corners. As for the lower radiator shroud, I think there were a couple in the project parts colle...

One other quick things with the Voltmeter plates. All the pics on the internet I see have the voltmeter plate looking brass... I have two that appear to be aluminum or some other whiteish metal, I guess similar to the fire plates.... Are there early and late voltmeter plates? I know these are origin...

Did it have two wiper motors originally? I thought there was only supposed to be one on both early and late? I could be mistaken.... I'm building mine with one wiper motor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ahhh yes... was getting my early and lates mixed up... I am going with the later plates so I think I'm good.... My Dash had the wholes for both...

I have the Serial Number Plate Marine Operation Plate Voltmeter Plate 3 Fire Warning Plates (1X Gasoline in compartment and 2X of the longer text ones... I believe the shorter text one goes under the rear seat...

Does anybody know of anybody reproducing the Voltmeter Plate? I have two originals I've been working on, but due to the low relief of the lettering they are not coming out as crisp as the Data Plates and Fire warning plates.... any thoughts?
