Wiper Vacuum Connection
Gentlemen, I asked this before but got two different answers. Perhaps we could get a consensus on how this should work? Glenn posted some pictures showing a rubber hose with a metal fittling right on the intake manifold. David Welch has some pictures showing a length of steel or copper tube with a f...

Windshield studs
Gentlemen, The studs that go on the windshield frame for the side curtains... I believe they are the later style GPW type that does not have a push mechanism... Am I correct? They just work with tension over the grommet? The early GPW had the push pin mechanism that release a little latch but these ...

Don't forget the windshield is different too.... Boy do we all sound negative.... I guess years of a GPA quest will do that to people :) I truly hope you find yourself a nice complete GPA somewhere.... I would concur about the completeness being so important... By the way do you have a lead on a res...

Richard, Welcome to the GPA hobby. You pose an interesting question that can not be measured exactly since the answer is it all depends. GPA's are considered pretty rare although they do seem to pop up out of nowhere once in a while. I believe the common consensus is that there are around 200 restor...

I think the coolest part about this patent... is that they go over the assembly step by step... what is assembled individually and then brought together... looks like they definitely get most of the chassis with driveline together first then mate it to hull then add the springs and diffs after... ve...

Yes I understand the font will be hard to find... but I've seen some that are close... I believe the hardest one to find is the 6 and nine which don't have a curve... I believe Richard made one by grinding his 8 down and using a chisel blade for the line.... thus having to stamp the cirlcle and line...

John, Yes Tony Fricks rebuilt my engine, transfer, transmission and PTO. Overall I was pleased. The engine runs like a top. I did have some issues with the following though: Improper bolts put on not the greatest attention to restoration detail. Paint was a bit sloppy wrong gray and needed to be tot...
