Hi Bob, First idea or step is head gasket. Bubbles in the radiator with full trottle? Yes? Cyl. head off! Looks an easy job but it is a GPA so never easy. New gasket is maybe the solution but you need also a very serious check of the cyl.head. When te head is not 100% use first type asbestos gasket ...

Dear GPA friends, There are 3 types of nomenclature plates. My idea is: 5000 early (Maint. veh. Quartermaster Corps) 3600 F-script and (Maint.veh. Ordnance Dept.) GPA plate # 6307 is F-script. As far as I know the plans for 2009 to go to the USA are changed for the Dutch amphib group. Manny Rogers is our contact person in the states. I don,t know exactly what was the end-result of this contact but there is sure no "go" for the moment. There are a lot of events in 2009 in Europe ...

Hi Cees, If Manny wants to restore/safe the old pulley he can drill maybe new holes. Let the old ones or fill it up with some steel by welding or else. I had the same problem years ago. After nearly 30 year its still in running condition. I sure know... "NOS" is the best!!! :-) Hope someon...
