So, no one else has seen or has an external vent type filler neck?

WTB Capstan Winch Clutch
I need the Capstan winch clutch assy that mounts on top of the engine for my GPA 10568 restoration.
I know they are rare and expensive but I'm ready for the sticker shock and will pay promptly. Partial units are OK too.
Please PM me with what you have available.
Thanks David

Re: Gas filler neck vent
The open tube design I posted vents above the rear deck and to the rear of the cabin. Unless you are driving backwards or the windspeed is from your stern at a greater rate than your forward speed venting is moved away or straight up into the atmosphere. Where does gas tank pressure vent from in an ...

Re: Gas filler neck vent
I can see how the internal tube design helps in rapid gas filling but not in relieving gas pressure expansion developing in the tank, for example, on a hot day. The external vent design would accomplish both. I agree though that if the rear deck took on a breaking wave that water might wash backward...

Re: Gas filler neck vent
I guess some photos would help? Notice how one of the GPA filler neck vents pass through the wall of the filler allowing it to vent to the outside and the other keeps the tube inside of the structure venting into the tank. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg55/vineyardhaven12/GPAfillertop_zps62f8b...

Gas filler neck vent
I have 2 GPA gas filler assys. One has the vent tube routed to the outside air and the other back into the gas tank?
Are the differences due to an early and late style?

Re: Wanted- a six bladed GPA radiator fan
I have the GAZ fan. It almost fits, the bolt holes on the GAZ fan are about 1/16th inch larger in diameter and set out a little farther so just a little filing was needed in each hole to make it fit on the GPA water pump pulley.

Re: GPA for sale
Tony was asking $200,000 for his GPA.
Did he get the full asking price?
If so, would that be the highest price paid to date?
BTW Tony, it is a spectacular GPA and worth every penny!
David
P.S, is the blue underdash thing another type of fire extinguisher?

Re: Wanted- a six bladed GPA radiator fan
The seller said he will ship it in a week. I'll post it mounted on my GPA. I hope it clears the fan shroud as well as bolts in place without need for any modification!

Re: Wanted- a six bladed GPA radiator fan
Brent Mullins sold the last fan several years ago according to whoever answers the phone there. I bought the EBAY (in Germany) Gaz fan. Anxious to see how it looks on my motor. Unfortunately the seller gave a delivery date of Jan 2nd. The seller is militaryonline.de (Markus Seitz). Does he post here...
