USMC GPAs

I am considering outfitting my GPA 5510 like the Tamiya USMC model. If you look on ebay, the models have a USMC 410312 registration number, a white stripe vertically on each side and a stripe down the bow. They also have an E-6 stenciled on the side. Is this marking pattern authentic? If so, does anybody on the list have any historical information on this unit?
