Now I have enough work for the winter to finish the job. The end is near sunny

Leo,

It is looking very good. I am curious, how difficult was it to get the engine mount bolts in the front? That must have been a challenge! Good luck and I hope to see pictures of her maiden voyage soon!

Donovan.

Leo,

Excellent work, do you use the paint from Desmet ?

Hello Donovan,

It was not too hard to get the engine mount bolts in, left side was easy, but right side getting the nuts on was harder.

Bob, I'm planning to go on further from now on, I hope the winter will not be as bad as last year.

Cees, my paint is not from Desmet but from Joop Staman: US OD colour.

Last weeks we did the fuellines, front and rear diving axles, all the rubber boots, the radiator and hoses, the panels on the right side of the engine, the capstan and capstan drive and the vent hatches left and right. Here is a photo update:

Next is filling the cooling fluid, mounting the oil filter bracket and exhaust so we can start up the engine and drive around for the first time. Also working on the dash and the other deck panels. But watertest first soon.
