Finally the drawings of the three firewall pads. All measurements are in metric milimeters......

Gents, I hope you have enough information to reproduce them yourselfs. The firewall under the dash is a good frame, you can easy determine where all the holes should be.

Hi Leo,

thanks for the effort !

Could you also indicate the overall dimensions ? Otherwise its difficult to determine the angles :?

Thanks,
Glenn

Hi Glenn,

As I mentioned before I think it is possible to get the overall dimensions from the dash firewall itself, but if it helps I will provide them after the next weekend.

Firewall Pad

Post by GPA2196 »

Leo and All,

First many thanks for all these great pics, and measurements.

During the Dayton MVPA convention I spoke with Paulo Batisti about reproducing this pad for us. He told me he thought he could...

I would like to put all of the pictures we have together and see what he thinks. I would also like to see the level of interest in these, my thoughts were to have them made without the holes so that alignement could be done on the vehicle.

Once we have a number of people interested perhaps we can get a price and timetable. He is located in Italy and thought having an original would be best but thinks he could do it off pics and measurements.

Also Leo, I am having trouble downloading the middle pic of the measurements, it cuts off halfway.

What does everybody think?

Dear Peter,

Still here but busy at work. I would be interested in a firewall pad repro, depending on price. Put me on the list as "tentative".

Cheers

Jerome Stevens

BTW I too cannot see half of the second picture

Hello Tony and Jerome,

I'm one of these European guys that has just came back from hollidays (I visitid the Normandy beaches in France). I did discover 3 new WWII Original GPA photos from the normandy beaches, always so far only one was known. I will post these three later.

As for the middel photo of the firewall pad, I will have to look that one up and repost it, I will get back to you on that too within a few days, OK?
