IJ4 and a GPA

Everyone,
You will not believe this! It appears the new Indiana Jones Movie (No.4) will have one or more GPAs in it. I was doing a little research when I heard there was an "amphibious car" in the movie and ran across this photo. It appears that they have reproduced it for some function in the movie. Come next summer (when the movie is due out), the GPA will become a lot more known.
Enjoy...

Maybe a GAZ 46? I can't imagine a GPA owner renting their vehicle out for that kind of stunt? I guess it could be a fabricated reproduction... but sure seems like a lot of work... I wonder how it fits into the plot?

I sure hope it is a fabricated reproduction, but it looks like it is well done.
I think the gpa will become even more popular if these vehicles appear in such a blockbuster movie.

Tony,
It may have been made to look like a GAZ-46, but the shape of the hull is a GPA. I am pretty sure it is a reproduction and not the real thing.
Leo,
I agree Leo, if it plays a signifigant role in the movie, people will be very interested in it and we will see a lot more attention/desire for this type of vehicle.

Hi Guys
I was leaving a show early this year in my GPA and two guys stopped me and said they had a company supplying vehicles for film work and needed a GPA. They mentioned a new Indiana Jones film and said they were paying 1000 Pounds a day! I said I was not interested and they asked why so I told them I had seen what film companies have done with other rare vehicles in the past. They said no problem, I would be the only driver and they did not seem too happy when I drove off and left them standing there.
Regards
Bob
