Ribbing Width

Everyone,

As I repair the left and right rear side panels, I have noticed that the ribbing on the GPA at the bottom is slightly thicker for the bottom rib as opposed to the upper ribs in the middle section. My bottom ribs are missing in the rear panels and I am trying to assess whether the bottom ribs (which appear to be about 16-3/4 wide) are the thick type or the thin type. I know this sounds like a ridiculous question, just trying to get it right.

Thanks,

Donovan.

Hi do you mean the ribs just above the rear , the are the same dimension [thick] as the one just above it .
I had to make them for the body of Leo and took the size of my own gpa wich still has them.
You can look at several repairs posted on the forum

Peter,

Thanks. That is what I suspected. Initially, my welder took the ribbing size from somwehere else on the vehicle and then noticed that the ribs are not all the same size. Slowly but surely!

Thanks again,

Donovan.
