Hullticknes

Hello all,

I have finish my frame now an will start to restore the hull.
Witch ticknes of metal i can use to restore the hull,floor,tunnelparts,ect.
Can anybody help me in this question?

Patrick,

It varies from section to section. The front part is thicker than the side and the bottom of the hull I believe is the thickest part. Some parts of the bottom (especially where the spring hangers bolt through) are reinforced with an extra thickness of sheet metal. I think that the most common sheet steel used on the body is 16 gauge. However, I will check and get back to you and see if I can tell you exactly. The safest way is to measure at places not rusted through and then use that as the basis for repair.

Patrick,

If I am correct ii is in metric side panel 1.25 mm ,bottom 1,5 mm and front hull bottom 2mm profile 1,5/2 mm [ like crossbeam]
This is what I use with repairs at the hull
