Hi,
Well work is progressing on the hull.
I have had to replace the reinforcing panel that holds up the floor pan. This proved to be a fun job un doing all those spot welds.
And even more fun drawing the panel and making it.

Then came the job to fit it back in the hull.
Well at last s it in and all the welding is finished.

This I must admit is one of the more difficult parts to replace in the hull, but it looks great now its done.

If any one has a need for this part please let me know.

Now its on to the battery boxes.

Best regards
Richard Sanders

Hi Richard,

Great job ..... it's good to see that your sheetmetal skills are as good as your machining capabilities !

Keep up the good work !

Best regards,
Glenn

Hi Richard,

Great job on this piece.

I had to have the same thing done only we did just the bottom half of the part and not the whole thing. I am hoping the welder finishes the drivers side next week and then moves on to the passenger rear side and then hopefully done. How far along are you? Hopefully I also will have pictures soon of my progress.

Good luck,

Donovan.

Hi All
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.
So far the bottom and passenger side of the bow is all repaired.
All of the passenger side between the wheel wells is done including the rear front spring mount position.

(I will post some more pictures)
Now its on to the back end and battery boxes. All of this is quite sad.
The "trick" is just to focus on one small area at a time and not worry about the rest.

At this rate it will take until Christmas before I am close. ( Close to what, and which Christmas I am note sure).

Well at least its still progressing.

Best regards
Richard
