Hi Guys,

Took the GPA out for a swim today. Was in the water a couple of hours and did some beach landings as well as different ramps around the lake. Winds were gusting up to 20 mph which made for some good waves. Took the kids out finally they enjoyed it had a nice picnic on the shore. GPA performed well, brakes are worthless for quite a while after the swim. The drive is about 45 mins but its a nice spot if not the closest... should probably start trailering more. I have 550 miles on the GPA now so out of my break in period. Here are some pics.

Wow! What a beauty!
Here's a picture of my GPA. And it swims too, (but only on the bottom of the lake). :< David

Sweet David,

Is this the 2nd GPA you acquired? What are your plans? Are you going to disassemble it and restore? It looks like a SUPER place to start, I wish mine started there LOL...

Cheers,
Tony

This was the blue and white one that was on Dave Uhrig's site a year ago.
My plan's... I don't know. I bought it to help in my restoration of my RR Services bucket o' rust (comparatively speaking).
But I find myself just sharpening up this one cause' it's more fun and easier to work on. It's become more of a detractor from digging into my first one. David
