Strong, tall arms of steel, You stand so majestic, yet displaced. Once part of a magnificent twinned Structure, millions stood in awe of you.
May you be a reminder
That the thoughts and actions of men Can break even the greatest of structures
And take the most innocent away
Now thousands will stand before you
And weep, while remembering your
Glory and the agony they felt as they Watched you fall to the ground.
It is good to see you rise again.
With so much lost, not all is forsaken.
You stand as a symbol of history, A tribute to the proud structure you Once supported, and a memorial to all Of the fine people who lost their lives
Living their everyday life.
And that we must do all we can
To resist evil and safeguard humanity.
Oh, tall arms of strength,
Oh, bell tower,
Ring your bells in peace
And let your presence cause us to remember..
