GPA Nomenclature Plate

Dear GPA friends,

I try to find out when Ford used the "Ford" script name or nomenclature plate during the early production.
My 2nd GPA # 3972 (12-15-42) needs new dash plates. The original one, is sure in my workshop but can"t find anymore.
According Robert de Ruyter - making this plates - there are 3 types.
The small early plate with "Ford" on top, also early without this(!), and the well-known late large one.
I know just two. No Ford script ones.
But when 3 types is correct, maybe someone of you knows the right order connected to the GPA serial numbers. I hope so!!!
Best regards,
Jan

P.S. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Holland for you all !

Mithril, has the GPA registry list on his website: http://homeusers.brutele.be/mithril/

Maybe you could contact GPA owners with numbers lower than yours to see what plates they have and to see if any have the Ford script plate.

Please post what you learn here!

David

Dear GPA-friends,
Thank you for your kind information about this item.
I will inform you when there is any news.
According the very first reactions there are just 2 types of the name plate.
The small one without "Ford" and the large late one.
But we keep in contact! Maybe there will follow some other reactions.
Best regards,
Jan

Dear GPA friends,

There are 3 types of nomenclature plates.
My idea is:
5000 early (Maint. veh. Quartermaster Corps)
3600 F-script and (Maint.veh. Ordnance Dept.) GPA plate # 6307 is F-script. Thanks Leo Verhagen!
4200 late (Maint. veh.Ordnance Dept.)
