Hello Bob,

According to the list below it could be Steve Barber:

hello

Gerben called me and told me that this GPA engine came of a GPA where they are made ??of a pickup trick and no longer exists

Greetings

Bob

I used to own that GPA after Steve Barber, this engine came from a GPA from Texas that I believe was being used to tow boats around in a marina (On Land). It indeed was turned into a pickup truck I had to part it out but many nice panels came out of it... Bob you probably have some of them... I believe I might have sold the frame to David in Massachusetts, I think I "might" still have the original serial number plate to match that engine....

Thanks,
Tony

Tony is correct about it being used as a "tow"truck in a marina. Bubba had cut holes in the hull and added a tow bar so that he could move boats around. I remember that engine block having a severe crack (probably due to freezing) above the distributor. Bob, do you plan on trying to have that block repaired?
