PTO Shift Boot Retainer

Post by GPA2196 »

Hey Guys,

Is there a retaining plate for the PTO shift boot similar to the transfer boots? I hear it is square, Does anybody have a picture? David Pizzoferato of WeeBee Webbing is going to reproduce the shift boots for GPA PTO levers but needs this piece... I'm not sure what it looks like. Any pictures out there?

Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

No retaining plate, the boot is bolted to the floor panel.
On the old "Meet the Seep" Site from Rodney Walker there is a technical drawing of this boot, check bottom link.

Interesting.... does anybody have a picture of how this looks? Do you need washers? What size bolts or screws? What stops the leather from tearing out around the bolts?

Thanks,
Tony

Hello Tony

This is a photo of my PTO boot
I got it from Beachwood Canvas together with Gear lever boot and transfer case levers boot to match all three with same material and same color

Hope this helps
