Rifle rack brackets

Post by Dominique Cordonnier »

Hello dear amphib friends
Could you help me with some information concerning the brackets which holds the carbine holder fitted just behind the windscreen .(Drawings & mesurements ). If possible ... :?
It's a shame , Tony never got a forum reply on nearly the same question on the last sun 14 of May !!
Can someone help ? ...It's not for my GPA ? AS I don't plan to Install a rifle bracket on mine , but for a good friend in England , doing a very good restoration project 8)
Thanks so much for your help !! : :D

I just had a full set made off an original set provided by Steve Barber. I sent Steve the repro's back and he's none the wiser (just kidding :) )

They were made by Dennis Francis of wheels of the past who as most of you know has done some incredible work making unavailable GPA parts.. He now has the patterns for them and has made a spot on perfect set for me. Give him a call and I'm sure he'll make you a set.

Cheers,
Tony

Tony and Dominique

When I dismanteled my 7144 I found a bracket on the inside below the big rifle bracket. I have lent it out to Koer Wijker for reproduction as soon I have it back I will post a picture from it. The set contains 4 pieces ?

If not, I will also be interrested by your picture too Cees or Leo.
