Does anyone have, in no particular order of priority:
1. Specs or dimensioned drawings for the GPA muffler (GPA 5230);
2. Info that the GPA muffler was the same as another off-the shelf muffler manufactured for Ford vehicles in the early 1940's and thus available from sources for such vehicles;
3. Know a source manufacturing the GPA muffler, preferably in stainless;
4. Have a GPA muffler in good shape that you can't wait to get rid of?
I'm trying to think a bit ahead, so that we don't finish up my GPA and find ourselves stuck on something like this.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I am having a few mufflers made up in stainless. If you are intrested let me know. These are exact reproductions like the surf shields. I will not be offering these to the forum at this time.

Brent Mullins Jeep Parts still has NOS in the box mufflers... just got a new one from him since my other NOS one had a small dent in it.... I can't recall the exact price but thought it was around 75 dollars or so. BTW the original box is really neat and has a buy war bonds for victory ad or something like that printed on the cardboard box....
