I brought home a "new" GPA a month ago which was supposed to have a GPA motor. It turned out to have a GPW un-numbered replacement block. I contacted a guy who I remembered from 2 years ago, said he had what he "thought" was a GPA motor. I gave him a call and this is what I found,(this motor is in running condition),
I gave him a deposit and hope to pick it up next Saturday, (it's still in a GPW and has to be taken out).
If all goes as planned I'll post the details on the seller as he has alot of goodies for MB's GPW's and Slat's.

Very good deal with the GPA engine!
Even the original F-bolts are there on top of the cylinderhead.
Maybe the prints of my engine work bench can help you a little bit to solve the cleaning and rebuilding job.
