Some more progress on GPA #8787

Post by leo verhagen »

After mounting a lot of parts it is time to post another update on GPA #8787.
Sorry for the poor quality, my digital camera is not working very good with the poor and artificial light in my shed.
Don't look at the two different OD colours as well, my supplier did send me a bucket of the wrong shape OD.
When the right colour has arrived, it will become all in the same OD shade again.

After this the steering cable, brake lines and brake/clutch axle inside will follow, then the 2 vent hatches.
Then the hull will come off the rotisserie and will be put on the axles.
Regards,

Leo Verhagen

Leo,

It looks great. I think I am going to assemble mine the same way in that I will install engine, trans, and transfer case after axles are on. I am like David in that I am a far cry from starting assembly. I am still refining some of the components so that I do not have to worry later on. Good work and keep the pictures coming along with any warnings on the assembly process so the rest of us can try avoid any problems that you may run into.
