Hey Guys,
I have decided to sell my fully restored 1942 Ford GPA (2196). I am truly appreciative to the many friends on this forum who have helped me over the 4 year restoration to get it to the high quality that it is today. I would venture to say and have been told by the "experts" that it is one of the best GPA's in the world. This is a turnkey vehicle that drives and swims flawlessly, it has won top honors 1st place MVPA nationals and best in show pretty much wherever it has been entered for judging. I have 3,600 hours of labor in this vehicle and due to having had 5 GPA's it was assembled with almost all original and or NOS parts down to the F bolts and unique fasterners throughout even all of the guages were NOS including the speedometer. There are very few reproduced parts on this vehicle.
So my question to the forum is how should I sell this vehicle? domestically (USA)? Overseas? Auction? Word of mouth? Broker? I am getting ready to move to Jacksonville Florida and am downsizing my collection. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tony
