Hand crank

Hello all,

Am curently assembling GPA11747 and have a question for those that know.
The machine gun mount has a smal bracket welded on that looks to be for a rather small spring.
I think that it has to do with the hand crank mechanism that has to keep the gears meshed.
Question: how does that spring look like and how should it be installed please?

I think that's the way it should be.
The hand crank works fine.
