Maintenance manual variations

Post by Donovan »

I was lucky enough to take my vehicle to a car show that ended up with an attendee giving me a GPA maintenance manual dated 1942. I know, very lucky!

Years ago I bought a copy of a GPA maintenance manual from portrayal press that was dated 1943. How many versions of the manual did they make and is one original version wanted more than an another original version?

Thank you in advance,

Donovan.

Good day Michael,
No reactions for you, so I try to give you an answer.
As far as I know there are only two maintenance manuals; 1942 and 1943.
If I 'm correct there are 6 different parts lists.

Regards, Bob

Hi Bob,
Thank you for the information. I did not realize there were so many variations of the parts manual. I have a both the GPA parts manual and a Ford Master parts manual. The one thing I noticed about the Master Parts manual (at least the version I have) is that it would sometimes would provide lengths for tubing or wiring which was convenient during my restoration.

Hope all is well,

Best regards,

Michael.
