gpa serial 9542

I am John Hecker from Maryborough Queensland Australia Australia.
I have a detailed restoration of GPA 9542 which was fairly original when discovered with matching engine and serial number. Also have unrestored GPA 7969 ANDgpa 7938, all 3 of which belonged to the Australian army.

Hi John, details follow for your three GPA’s mentioned;

GPA 7938 was a N.S.W. allocated vehicle with A.R.N. 55721, sold under Sales Advice Notice "Ford VMT 1923" in a batch of 14 GPA's.

GPA 7969 was a Victorian allocated vehicle with A.R.N. 129982, sold under Sales Advice Notice "Ford VMT 1928" in a batch of 22 GPA's. Purchaser was the New South Wales Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission and became Plant Number W.C.I.C. 5818. Extremely detailed records are available for that vehicle.

GPA 9542 was a Victorian allocated vehicle with A.R.N. 129953, sold under Sales Advice Notice "Ford Coy SAN 5376" in a batch of 23 GPA's. As you know, it was owned by the Ford Dealer in Chinchilla, John Dorney, for many years. Comprehensive local newspaper articles cover the life of this vehicle.
