Gas Pedal Seal

Last night when Albert Wijker visit me at my shed he spoted a small cover for the gas pedal he never seen it, see picture

It is made in leather, normal it is a rubber flexible hose like a accordeon.
Who know more.

Hi Cees,

Rubber cover = early Ford GPW or GPA

Leather cover = late(r) Ford GPW or GPA

just like the covers for the shift stick and transfer case .......

They changed it to leather to save on rubber. They needed the rubber for other products, like tires etc. which were more important at the time !

Hello Cees, I found the same as yours mounted on my GPA (January 1943).
