Does anybody have any detailed pictures/measurements of what the clamps look like holding on the asbestos/clay exhaust insulator? The South African GPA picture of the engine shows a flat metal strap fastener. Here are a couple of pictures...

According to the ford gpa and ford master parts lists, it is clamp with number gpa 5264 on early gpa's. later changed to gpa 8585 also known as ford part number 19b 8585-b. These are the same as the clamps on the fuel filler neck hose. Total you will need 4 on a gpa, 2 for the asbestos cover and 2 for the fuel neck hose. I think on the photo you can see the early clamp gpa 5264.
