Dear All
I am in the process of wiring my GPA with a set I got from Vintage Wiring of Maine.
I know how to connect the wires but I don't know how to place them in the GPA (ie where do they travel)
Would you by chance have pictures or drawings on "how to position the wire" ?
I believe the battery to starter cable runs on the right side of the frame and the light cable goes from the front to the back through the body where the steering cables go; but IO am not sure. I can imagine the steering cable ruining the wiring harness ...
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
J

Re: wiring the GPA
Hi Jerome,
Because your GPA is a late one, your wiring goes through the right side tube, like the rudder cables on the left side.
In your case you need the long version of the wiring, because on the early models, the wiring went through the left chassis beam.
The wiring to the rear is only; black out, black out stop light, tail light and brake light.
The battery cable goes from your batteries through the right chassis beam to the starter engine.
For the main wiring, there is a hole in the air tunnel on the right, that gives an opening to the dash connection strip on the left side.
For the rest it is almost the same model of installation as the normal Jeep.
If you want I can mail you on your privat e-mail some pictures.
